Unbelievable: Power Shut Off During Dhoni Press Conference in Rajkot (video)
The stadium power was shut off during the press conference with MS Dhoni after the first one-day between India and England at the new Rajkot SCA stadium. The power was shut off for a sound and laser show.
Dhoni was his usual self, and recovered quickly.
“So we call it a day?” Dhoni said, when the lights went out. “Chalo, I answered almost all the questions.”
The room descends into a bit of chaos, with the laser show starting outside the window and some Indian journalist mumbling a classic, “what yaar“. The camera-operator tries to make a little sense of a senseless situation.
